Joel Caschetto – Vancouver
Joel has a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, BC. He attended Thompson Rivers University for his undergraduate degree on a volleyball scholarship. Following his bachelor’s degree, he played two seasons of professional volleyball in Europe. His passion for movement and the human body confirmed he wanted to become a physiotherapist. Joel continues to play professional beach volleyball and also coaches high-level indoor, and beach volleyball throughout the year.
Having played professional sports for many years and experiencing a variety of injuries, Joel recognizes the challenge of bouncing back from injuries and the frustrations that accompany them. He understands movement from the inside out whether you are a professional athlete, weekend warrior, yoga practitioner, walker, gardener or simply want to improve your mobility. Joel’s primary educational philosophy is “teach how you want to be taught”, where he aims to not just teach the movement, but also focuses on the importance of educating patients on the reason behind each exercise. As an inventive problem solver and creative thinker, he will tailor your recovery plan to your unique rehab needs.
