Lisa didn’t have the straight arrow path to being a strength coach. After completing her Bachelor of Commerce in Auckland, Lisa pursued a marketing career for a number of years. As Lisa was developing in her athletic career, first in field hockey then CrossFit and Powerlifting, she naturally started coaching ‘on the side’ because she realized how rewarding it was to help others find and develop confidence in themselves through strength training. 

Lisa provides both in person and remote coaching services and works with anyone looking to gain functional strength – for sport or for life – whether that be hiking, biking, running or just keeping up with the kids. 

Lisa also has her pre/post natal certification and loves helping moms start and continue moving through their pregnancy journey and beyond – skills include breath work, strength training for beginners to advanced athletes, support through rehabbing diastasis recti and stress urinary incontinence with exercise. 

Lisa knows that strength training is a tool to make the rest of our lives better and so when she’s not in the gym – you’ll find Lisa out in the mountains with her dog – hiking, mountain biking or snowboarding.
