DR. MELISSA TANCREDI

Dr. Tancredi graduated from The University of Notre Dame majoring in Anthropology and Pre Med, where she received a soccer scholarship and won a National Championship in 2004 as captain of the team.  She then earned her Doctorate of Chiropractic from Logan University in St Louis Missouri, graduating top of her class with honours, Magna Cum Laude, and named class Valedictorian. She is a board certified chiropractor in both the US and Canada with certifications in FDM (Fascial Distortion Model), Graston and Kinesio Tape.  

Dr. Tancredi earned a Bronze medal in both London 2012 and Rio 2016 Olympic Games as a member of the Canadian Women’s National Soccer Team since 2004.  

During her schooling at Logan, Dr. Tancredi worked with high school, NAIA and NCAA DIV 1 athletes from many different sports.  She was a part of the Chiropractic team to be involved with the University of Missouri Football program, and she was also handpicked to work in a multidisciplinary clinic heading the rehabilitation program for stroke and paraplegic patients as well as treating the USA wheelchair rugby team.  Dr. Tancredi completed her Chiropractic internship in Chicago with Dr. Josh Akin who is the head Chiropractor for the Chicago Cubs and the Chicago Bears. Additionally, Melissa earned her Masters in Sports Science and Rehabilitation, where she completed her internship working alongside both the Sports Scientist and lead Physiotherapist for the Canadian Women’s National Soccer Team.

Having represented Canada on the world stage and played professional soccer for over 12 years, Dr. Tancredi is well aware of the physical demands of being active and she understands what it takes to compete at the highest level, to stay healthy and perform at your best. This is why Dr. Tancredi specialises in treating athletes of every level - from professional athletes to active individuals - who are looking for that competitive edge through preventative and rehabilitative care.  

Dr. Tancredi understands the true power of a team effort and will therefore work with the patient and other care providers to make sure the patient is receiving the most efficient and beneficial treatment plan that suits their lifestyle needs.  

Through a functional and biomechanical assessment, Dr. Tancredi will look to reveal any dysfunction that could be causing or leading to the patient's chief complaint, and from there elaborated a plan incorporating mobility, strength and/or maintenance programs.

SELENIA IACCHELLI

Selenia graduated from the University of Alberta with her Masters in Physiotherapy in 2012. She completed her bachelors at the University of Nebraska in Nutrition Exercise Science while playing Division I NCAA soccer. Selenia was captain of her team for 3 years of her collegiate career. Selenia represented Canada at the world stage as she was a member of the Canadian Women’s National Soccer team both youth and senior for 12 years. She most recently played in the FIFA Women’s World Cup here in Canada in 2015. Upon graduation, Selenia played professionally across Europe and North America for numerous clubs including the Vancouver Whitecaps women’s team.

Having been a professional Athlete, Selenia is well aware of the physical demands of being active. She sustained many injuries herself throughout her career and understands what it takes to return from injury and to stay healthy. Selenia brings a unique perspective in managing various injuries and providing rehabilitation programs. Through a combination of manual therapy techniques and progressive exercises, she focuses on the correction of muscle imbalance and movement patterns in order to restore proper biomechanics for both acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries. Selenia specializes in Shockwave therapy, Dry needling, joint mobilizations, soft tissue and fascial techniques and focuses her attention on patient education and injury prevention.

Selenia is passionate about helping her patients set and achieve realistic and effective goals so that they can return to the everyday activities they love.

TAYLOR MCADAM

Taylor graduated from the 3000 hour program at the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2012. She practiced in Victoria for two years before working seasonally for a fishing lodge in Haida Gwaii, and has since been practicing in Vancouver.

She treats a variety of concerns including ongoing tension caused by postural imbalances from work, such as back tension, headaches, carpal tunnel, and repetitive strain injuries; stress and anxiety; and pain caused by muscular imbalances or joint dysfunction.

With an empathetic approach to treatments, she uses a combination of relaxation and therapeutic techniques to allow a gentle, but effective progression towards the goal of recovery

ERIKA McKAEFF

Erika made the best decision of her life when she quit an unfulfilling job in the finance field and began training in massage therapy, a career she is truly passionate about.

In 2012 she graduated from the 3000 hour program at West Coast College of Massage Therapy (New Westminster Campus) and has since had a very busy and successful practice.

In her years of practice, she has successfully treated various conditions such as acute/chronic pain, stress/anxiety relief & management, repetitive strain injuries, motor vehicle injuries, pre & post surgery care & sports injuries.

Her preferred style incorporates Systemic Deep Tissue Therapy ® and a variety of other safe and effective techniques such as Swedish, Joint Mobilization, Myofascial release, Trigger Point Release & IASTM tools (Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization)

Time and again, Erika has proven to provide genuine care to each and every patient/client.

She utilizes her knowledge, adaptability, intuition, and focused intent to deliver treatments that provide relief and prompt recovery.

KEVIN LAVERS

After a short career in the finance industry, Kevin had moved from Calgary to Vancouver in 2015 to pursue a career in personal training. He believes that everyone should find their passion in exercise and include that as part of their lifestyle. With over 15 years of fitness and sports training, he has developed great well-rounded knowledge with resistance and athletic training, nutrition and injury prevention and rehabilitation. Growing up playing many sports all his life, he also explored different types of fitness such as powerlifting, swimming, cycling and boxing, Kevin can share his experience with you to improve your own performance and abilities.


After several sports related injuries, Kevin has learned to help you move properly and strengthen problem areas before injuries, pain and stiffness wreak havoc on your body. Whether you want to lose weight, fix that back and shoulder pain or improve conditioning for athletics, Kevin can get you there while becoming the healthiest you’ve ever been.

“The successes, the pains and the failures I’ve gone through in sports and training has given me a confidence that I take into everything I do. The lessons you learn from training, you should take them into every aspect of your life and remember them when you’re just starting out, about to have a breakthrough or just went through a defeat. I don’t think you should ever forget those things.”

Cody Low

Cody has worked as a Strength and Conditioning Coach for 8 years. He is currently completing his Masters of Strength and Conditioning at St. Mary’s University Twickenham, and he received his Bachelors of Human Kinetics from the University of British Columbia. Cody has experience working with athletes from ages 7 to 80. He focuses on understanding the athlete, their individual needs and their sporting needs to develop a strength and conditioning program. Cody has worked as a Strength and Conditioning Coach with multiple national teams including Soccer Canada, in their preparation for the 2015 World Cup and 2016 Rio Olympics. Additionally he has worked with individual athletes who have achieved international success while representing Canada in swimming and Goalball. During the offseason, Cody has worked with NBA, NHL and MLS athletes who are recovering from injuries or preparing for the coming season. Cody focuses on knowing that individual and their needs. Applying scientific principles to allow you to achieve your peak performance.
