What is physiotherapy?

Physiotherapy is for anyone who has sustained an injury and it’s not always just when your sustained an injury. You can do physiotherapy for prevention as well. Physiotherapy, how I practice it a combination of manual therapy techniques along with exercise therapy, in order to restore motion in a joint and proper biomechanics.

When would somebody need physiotherapy?

Typically people who needs physiotherapy are patients who have sustained an injury, or is trying to prevent injury from happening.  Let’s say they are an elite runner or an athlete and they don’t want to get injured. They can come to Physio and make sure that everything is aligned and things are loose, to prevent injury from happening or to recover from an injury.
