Rebecca Vinkle

Rebecca began practicing as an RMT in 2013, seeing firsthand the benefits massage therapy can have. Using her background in kinesiology and anatomy, Rebecca utilizes the modalities of soft tissue and joint manipulation to create a customized treatment plan that works for you. Rebecca usesa variety of modalities from patient-to-patient depending on their needs and level of comfort. Her focus is deep tissue work and myofascial release, she also incorporates fascial stretching into the treatment when necessary.

Rebecca’s focus is on treating people who are actively looking to improve their health and wellness. Whether you are a weekend warrior looking to improve your time and training, someone who is committed to living and feeling better generally, or a seasoned athlete, Rebecca can aid in your healing through individualized plans for your specific needs. Not only does Rebecca focus on sports injury, but also on everyday issues that may be affecting your activities of daily living such as postural misalignment, muscle imbalances, or acute and chronic pain. After a grueling day at the office, or a grueling workout, Rebecca is your go to for any aches and pains that just will not resolve on their own.

A little background on Rebecca, she graduated from Queen’s University where she completed a dual degree in Physical and Health Education and Bachelor of Arts. After completing her degrees Rebecca travelled to Costa Rica where she found her passion for massage therapy. Following her adventures, she returned home and completed her Massage Therapy training at Algonquin College in Ottawa. Rebecca gained invaluable experience working in both Ottawa and Kingston for the last 6 years, and is looking forward to beginning her practice in this beautiful city.
